’PAVILION HOUSE 1’, VESKIMÖLDRE, TALLINN, 2002, AREA: 242 m2
A high degree of interior privacy is accomplished by zoning the house into distinct living and sleeping areas. Between these is a lower volume containing the kitchen and entrance.
The high-ceilinged pavilion-like `cube` is the living and dining room. The 2-storied wing contains 4 bedrooms, guest room, sauna, housekeeping and garage, and is bent 7 degrees south to avoid an underground current (found by a diviner). The street-facing chimney is still incomplete (there should be a continuous stone-clad element above the roof, covering the chimney-pipe). Team: Lembit Tork, Lauri Saar.
