LEPALINNU RD. 7 ANCILLARY BUILDING, 2011.
A dark sculptural object. The need for it came as an afterthought, once the main house was almost complete. It balances and creates tension. Obscures the view to the neighbour`s backyard. Gives privacy. The angling of the wall facing the yard, in plan and section, was to give this centrally visible, substantial volume an interesting character. In a simple manner, without drawing too much attention to itself. The horisontal slit window is positioned to emphasize the surgface geometries. Team: L. Tork, K. Post.
